Saw this beast on my way home from work yesterday. Looked like the truck equivalent of a man on stilts.

This can’t be legal, can it? I swear there’s laws regarding the max/min for where your bumper can be in relation to the ground. Same for headlights and taillights .

In MA, I believe you are limited to around +/-2". This may been excess of that, but other states are more permissive. I certainly don’t think that should be allowed on public roads.

Turns out there’s no federal laws, but states have their own, and they vary, a lot. Majority are frame, headlight, or  bumper height limited.

It blew by me 30mph faster than I was going on a different road. I didn’t even see it until he passed me. If I was in front of him I would’ve had my own personal monster jam experience.
